Drop Off Shredding Services

It’s Not Just For Your Business, Shredding is For Everyone!

Don’t let your personal information fall into the wrong hands by simply putting your old paper documents into a trashcan. Shredding unneeded sensitive documents keeps them from being stolen or taken out of the trash and keeps you and your family safe. If you only have a few boxes of documents that need shredding, we can help. The process is easy. Walk in one of these locations, have your documents weighed, pay, and have your documents deposited into our secure bin for shredding.

Simply drop off your paper documents and files in boxes or in bags. We’ll take care of the rest.

  • Cash, local checks, and all major credit cards are accepted
  • We request the removal of large binders and clasps prior to destruction, but the removal of staples and paper clips is not necessary

Gilmore’s destruction services are AAA certified by the National Association for Information Destruction (NAID), which keeps us compliant with data protection laws such as FACTA, HIPAA, and Sarbanes Oxley. Contact us to discuss any type of document destruction services or records management services.

Shredding Services Reviews

I called the day before and left a message. My call was returned very shortly. Took paper to be shredded the next day. Girl in office was very friendly. Will definitely return when I need additional shredding

Gilmore has top notch services, but their employees are truly bar none.

I have had the pleasure of talking and being helped by a few of their employees with a Ms. Erica McDuffie being the absolute kindest and my favorite. I highly recommend them for all your shredding and moving services

I have used Gilmore shredding since I worked at a healthcare office as far back as 2007. Anytime I have called, Steve S. Had always been caring on the phone and quick to make me feel important when I call. I don’t get a voicemail or left to wonder if I’m going to be taken care of.

Drop Off Shredding Gilmore
Will you provide my business with a Certificate of Destruction?
Before you hire a document shredding company, ask if they provide a Certificate of Destruction. This is a formal document that contains detailed information about the destruction of your materials to prove that the shredding process was completed and to prove compliance with privacy laws. Gilmore provides a Certificate of Destruction upon completion of every shredding service for all paper and media types.
Do I have to remove staples, paper clips, etc.?
Not at all. All you need to do is put the documents into the locked containers we provide and that's it. You don't have to worry about removing anything else, not even paper clips, staples or binder clips. Our shredders can handle that; however, we do remove 3 ring binders and hanging file folders, but that can be done as we load material into the shredder.

What shredding options do you offer?
Your business’ shredding requirements are unique; therefore, you want a shredding service that can custom tailor to your specific needs. At Gilmore, you have the ability to shred anything from paper to media and products. You can also choose the frequency of your service, whether it’s a one-time engagement, shredding every week or something in between

How much do shredding services cost?
The cost of shredding services relies on what service you are using and the volume of material that needs to be shredded. You can give us a call at (888) 439-7458 if you have any specific questions!

Do you only shred paper?
Hiring a reputable business to shred confidential paper documents is vital to keeping your data safe. But this process should also extend to other media types, like hard drives and unneeded goods or products. When you choose a provider like Gilmore, you’ll have the ability to shred all types of media, whether its paper, back-up tapes, optical media, CDs, computer hard drives, recalled products or damaged goods.
