Our Shredding Units Ensure Efficiency
Gilmore Services completely understands material destruction processes and is uniquely qualified to perform shredding and grinding of paper and disintegration of other material, such as magnetic media, hard drives, cell phones and numerous other media forms.
We use a wide variety of state of the art shredding, grinding and disintegration equipment. We currently utilize an Allegheny (1,000 series) industrial shredder (which shreds 168 tons per day) at our in-plant location along with a fleet of service vehicles including mobile shredding trucks which are each capable of shredding 56 tons per day. Late-model, International & Freightliner trucks, as well as tractor/trailer combinations (which can hold in excess of 22 tons of material) are available for the pickup/collection of material to be shredded. All Gilmore Services equipment is equipped with the state of the art GPS monitoring system available today. This allows us to track every move the trucks and drivers makes while transporting our customers data.
Our on-site shredding truck fleet is equipped with the latest advancements in total efficiency design and manufacturing. They are capable of processing over 56 tons of material per day! With automatic curb-level feeding, in-line compacting, and touch-screen controls, our operators can run shredding operations at peak efficiency. This saves us time and money, and the savings are passed along to you.
We use a Whitaker Brothers disintegrator, which has the capability of destroying over 10 ½ tons per day, for material disintegration work. This method of destruction completely destroys your sensitive magnetic media.
We have employees dedicated to shredding and disintegration services and have over 20,000 square feet at our in-plant facilites dedicated to the actual shredding and disintegration operations.
