Climate Controlled Storage – An Important Safeguard
Controlling the storage area climate for your documents or electronic media may be an important step in ensuring the complete safety, longevity and usability of your information.
Upon the initial transfer of records, from your hands into ours, we securely handle your files into one of our climate-controlled, GPS-monitored vehicles. Records are then transferred to our facilities, sections of which are specifically designed for climate controlled shelf or vault storage.
Proper temperature and humidity are essential for preserving electronic records on digital media. Temperatures and humidity levels that are above or below the recommended range can deteriorate electronic and paper records.
Depending on the type of media and the suggested retention period for your media, climate controlled storage may be beneficial to your organization and will extend the life of your documents and data for many years to come.
